Following a career as an aerospace engineer, I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Washington in 1981.
I am a member of the American Dental Association where I served 3 years on the Dental Wellbeing Advisory Committee, the Colorado Dental Association where I currently serve on the finance council, and the Boulder Broomfield County Dental Society where I served as president in 2008-09. I currently monitor other dental practices for the Dentist Peer Assistance Program of the State Board of Dental Examiners.
From 2006-2010 I was privileged to serve as a dentist in the Army Reserve, including a tour of duty in Iraq.
